R&D Product Support Coordinator

Reporting to the Business Line Director, Powersports Snow, the R&D Product support coordinator is responsible to executing and transferring new product development into mainstream production working both with product development and manufacturing. The R&D Product support coordinator will be also responsible, to issue new track documentation process and the engineering change through the PDP management system, and. ensures all activity require on manufacturing side are completed.


Key responsibilities

  • In collaboration with the development team, provide support to implement new product in production and help to coordinate manufacturing, development and procurement request.
  • Initiate and lead the prototype build, in partnership with process team
  • Ensure full transition of product in develop to the production level.
  • Initiate the track creation process through DP document under Windchill
  • Coordinate engendering change (ECN).
  • Support the production start-up of new products.
  • Solid understanding of in track process and all activity around those.
  • To be a point of contact for communication between manufacturing and R&D
  • Support manufacturing quality for existing product on customer request.


Qualifications required

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent experience
  • 5 to 10 years of experience in a similar position;
  • In-depth knowledge of our process and very good knowledge of product in general;
  • Problem solving skills;
  • Ability to manage pressure effectively and be resourceful;
  • Attention to details;
  • Available to travel up to 20% of the time to Canada, Camso CTC
