Service Sales Representative

YOUR IMPACT

 

 

Being part of the District Manager’s team, the selected candidate will provide industry-leading sales strategies to build customer loyalty thereby meeting/exceeding sales targets while maintaining and growing the customer base within a defined sales territory. Continuously broaden product knowledge to leverage our brand with existing and new customers.

 

 SALES  70%

  • Maintain existing customer accounts and identify new customers to meet/exceed budgeted sales in respective territory. 
  • Follow up on active leads immediately. 
  • Develop working relationships with key staff members at all accounts and keep them informed of how and why AFM/SOS offers the best solutions to meet their specific business applications. 
  • Assist Accounts Receivable in recovering past due monies.  

 

REPORTING  20%

Log into Salesforce platform to record calls, visits, and sales activities daily: 

  • Identify daily as to which part of the territory is worked;
  • Highlight changes to key personnel, addresses, discounts, types of product, etc.;
  • Document previous/new opportunities, customer training log, and suggestions/concerns;
  • Use Salesforce as a tool to increase productivity and time management;
  • Strive to spend Monday-Friday in productive sales activities; using Friday afternoons as a time for administration, follow-up, and schedule planning.
  • Collect up-to-date customer data to respond to management’s requests.

 

 PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT  10%

  • Continuously update product knowledge and refine sales skill to enhance and/or improve customer interactions by communicating effectively, both orally and in writing.

 

THE PROFILE TO SUCCEED

  • You have 4 years of sales experience or experience in the material handling or tire industry;
  • You hold at least a high school diploma;
  • You have a strong technical understanding of our product line and the service we provide;
  • You provide excellent customer service skills;
  • You have strong problem-solving skills:
  • You are self-motivated and disciplined.
