Talent Acquisition Advisor

Being part of to the Global Talent Acquisition Director's team, the selected person will have as main responsibilities to:


  • Partner with Hiring Managers and Human Resources Business Partners to understand the talent business needs and propose appropriate recruitment/sourcing strategies;
  • Manage all stages of the recruitment process for positions assigned (needs analysis, job postings, sourcing, telephone interviews, behavioural-based interviews, reference checks, psychometric testing, salary recommendations, offers and on-boarding process);
  • Manage and maintain Talent Acquisition data and banks of candidates in our Applicant Tracking System (SuccessFactors) for all recruitment activities under his/her responsibility;
  • Manage the Internship Program for the Magog site - initiate recruitment activities, lead the Talent Attraction committee, maintain and develop relationship with local selected education centres (University of Sherbrooke, etc.);
  • Contribute to the roll-out of the regional (Magog) talent attraction tactic plan in collaboration with the Talent Acquisition Leader;
  • Provide advices to the HR community on the application of the restrictive covenant policy (Non-Compete and Non-solicitation restriction);
  • Select and coordinate different recruitment and employer brand highlighting activities such as career events, online campaigns and other ad hoc projects as assigned;
  • Contribute to improvement of recruitment practice by doing research, stay up to date on new trends, techniques, applications and tools, web sites for sourcing, processes and metrics.




  • You have 3-5 years in recruitment or any relevant professional experience (sourcing expertise and experience in an international work environment is an asset);
  • You hold a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Marketing or any relevant education program;
  • You are proficient with LinkedIn and social media platforms like Facebook and Twitter;
  • You possess a previous experience with an HRIS, an ATS (e.g. SAP, SuccessFactors, Taleo, Kenexa, etc.) or any other ERP system;
  • You are proficient with MS Office and good analytical skills with Excel;
  • You possess excellent communication skills in French and English;
  • You demonstrated business sense and customer focus orientation;
  • You have strong organizational and presentation skills;
  • You are self-motivated; takes initiative and works with a minimum of supervision;
  • You are a team player; works cooperatively with others to solve problems and willingly helps others.
