Engineering Director

You will be responsible to drive the innovation by developing all new products for all new applications and markets, as well as being responsible for current products maintenance. You will also be responsible to generate product and process innovations, which are necessary to maintain Camso’s position ahead of the competition, by always pushing the boundaries and capabilities of our products.

  • Establish an intimate customer relationship with our OEM’s in collaboration with the Sales team and product line Management team;
  • Maintain a constant outlook of modern technologies regarding manufacturing processes and assembly methods;
  • Participate with the engineering in our factories to develop our strategy that will strongly improve our productivity and product quality;
  • Develop, with the validation team, new validation processes on simulators as well as in the field, achieving improvement goals;
  • Improve engineering processes (innovation management, product development processes (PDP), DFM/DFA, engineering changes, product validation, budget management, etc.);
  • Participate to the development of the strategic and the annual operating plans;
  • Foster team development of his direct and indirect reports.






  • You are available to work from our Magog office at least 2-3 days per week (work remotely for the rest of the week);
  • You hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or clear and demonstrated success in a similar role in your career;
  • You have10 years of experience in engineering and a minimum of 5 years in a manager’s role;
  • You have demonstrated business sense and customer focus orientation
  • You are fluent in French and English (written and spoken);
  • You are capable to handle multiple tasks/projects;
  • You will catch our attention if you have ability to bring changes in all spheres (products, business processes, people development and organization);
  • Travelling will be approximately 10% of the time.
