THE CHALLENGE

Within the Track & Wheel facilities, the Quality Engineer - Planning guarantees product quality thru

 

  • Maintaining & Improving ISO 9001:2015 QMS standards.
  • Responsible for Control Plan & SPC updates for new program parts.
  • Completing MSA/Gage R&R to support Control Plan requirements.
  • Plan Quality activity for process validation
  • Performing (or directing) inspection activity to validate product conformity for production release approval.
  • Statistical analysis & capability studies according to Control Plan.
  • Ownership of customer required PPAP’s
     

THE PROFILE TO SUCCEED

  • 4 year Industrial or Mechanical Engineering Degree
  • Automotive quality background
  • Minimum 2 years in ISO registered manufacturing environment
  • Experience in process & product validation
  • Ability to demonstrate strong skill in PFMEA & Control Plan
  • Working knowledge of Corrective Action methodology
  • Expertise in training & teaching
  • Strong team player with interpersonal & communication skills
  • Communicate issues & drive resolutions with multi-disciplinary team
  • Experience using electronic measurement devices (3D scan, vision system, etc..)
