Foam Fill Center Coordinator

A Foam Fill Facility Coordinator is responsible for overseeing all daily operations for the Foam Fill Facilities within a region. Responsibilities may include product and inventory management, managing customer experiences, operational reporting and planning as well as providing on-going guidance and support to Fill Technicians.

 

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Foam Fill Facility Coordinator ensures the overall efficiency of all the foam fill center operations in keeping with Camso policies, procedures, and accepted practices.
  • Routinely visits foam fill centers in assigned region and reports findings/issues noted during each visit to their respective Operation Manager/District Manager. 
  • Works with Operations Manager/District Manager to develop action plans for addressing respective foam fill center deficiencies.  
  • Manage inbound/outbound freight such as STO’s (stock transfer), BOL’s (bill of ladings) from facilities and customer orders (wheels to foam fill centers, customer and hub)
  • Route planning for customer deliveries, assign work orders to fill technician via Salesforce.
  • Manage return of foam fill assemblies from customers to foam fill center.
  • Production order creation of assembly part numbers and BOM (build of material).
  • Accurately maintain and document wheel, tire and assembly inventory.  
  • Review minimum/maximum of inventory for all foam fill center locations in region.
  • Responsible for monitoring cycle inventory counts at each foam fill center.
  • Processing customer orders and accurately maintain customer billing for all foam fill centers in the region.
  • Create purchase orders for our external vendors via SAP. Track orders to ensure delivery of the products to our branch, freight terminals or to the customer, and receive the PO in the system.
  • Maintain daily foam fill log per technician per day, SPCC monthly checklist.
  • Encourages open communication and promotes participatory problem solving and teamwork among employees.
  • Reinforce safety practices for all foam fill center employees by:
  • Reinforcing weekly Safety TBTs and ensure understanding of material; and
  • Completing Safety Observation Cards during each service center visit.
  • Performs related duties as required.

 

Required Education and Experience

  • High School diploma or an equivalent combination of education and related experience
  • Five (5) years of progressively responsible management experience, to include a minimum of three (3) years of experience in the tire industry, preferably in the material handling, construction, rubber tracks, and/or industrial wheels market

 

Required Skills

  • Must possess a clean motor vehicle driving record
  • Functional computer knowledge (MS Office / SAP / Salesforce)
  • Ability to manage projects, motivate, train, and direct service employees
  • Problem solving with proactive approach
  • Ability to work independently within the specified job scope
  • Strong grasp of time management and prioritization techniques
  • Ability to travel 35% - 50% is required

Work Conditions

  • Exposure to various noises and hot/cold conditions within work location, customer locations
  • Talking, sitting, typing, standing, bending, twisting, squatting, and reaching are routine characteristics of this job
  • Normal driving hazards such as road and local weather conditions associated with business travel
