The Challenge 

Reporting to the Manufacturing Systems Technical Expert, the selected candidate will mainly be responsible for designing tooling and sub-assemblies for our equipment. He or she will work very closely with the technical expert, engineers and senior designers on various projects.


Key Responsibilities

  • Design and model parts and sub-assemblies;
  • Support CAD requests from our internal clients; set up their autonomous access to drawings;
  • Develop drawings, component lists and technical manuals;
  • Help develop traction systems, tooling and production equipment designs;
  • Participate in technological choices (components, manufacturing and assembly);
  • Follow up with our various toolmakers.


  • You have a College diploma in mechanical engineering or equivalent experience;
  • You have 1 to 5 years' design experience in a 3D environment (Pro-E / Creo would be an asset);
  • You have knowledge of one 3D CAD program (e.g. SolidWorks, Pro-E);
  • You have knowledge of different machining and manufacturing processes;
  • You have understanding of mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems;
  • You are bilingual (spoken and written English 4/5);
  • You are rigorous, attentional to detail and concerned for quality of work.
